Ocean Reef Resort

With an increased emphasis being placed on quality customer service delivery in Grand Bahama, one local resort property is today the proud recipient of an international hospitality award.
The Ocean Reef Yacht Club and Resort was recognized by Resort Condominiums Inter-national (RCI), the world’s largest vacation exchange company, for achieving standards of excellence in resort accommodations and hospitality.
Also being honoured were two salespersons, Ann Goddard and Clem Davis, for their outstanding performances in sales.
Carlos Niebla, senior manager of business development at RCI said the award is a prestigious one that many resorts hold in high regard.
“It is presented due to the outstanding job the resort is doing for RCI members. We are here on behalf of our members who are the ones that provide this award to the resort according to their experience when they are exchanging or vacationing here,” he told the staff members who gathered yesterday for the short award ceremony.
“You should be very proud of receiving this award due to the fact that not all the resorts in the world get to receive this qualification, and having a hospitality award means that the service is outstanding.”

The project is being constructed in a highly visible 64-acre area along Merrimac Trail that is adjacent to the Williamsburg Country Club and the Interstate 64 interchange that serves as the entrance to Busch Gardens.Dan Carter, vice president of sales and marketing for Parkside Resort, said the Landmark Resort Properties of Virginia development's amenities — including guaranteed when-in-residence country club privileges for golf villa owners and a limited number of based-on-availability passes for time-share patrons — would appeal to baby boomers and avid golfers.
